POLICE today appealed for a motorised wheelchair user who helped a man who was found badly injured in the street to come forward.
William Hughes, 57, was found injured on a footpath in Landressy Street at James Street in Glasgow's East End last month.
However, police are still trying to establish how he was hurt. He is in a serious condition in Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
It is believed he left a pub in London Road, near to Bridgeton Cross around 10.30pm on Friday, December 8.
Officers said a man in a motorised wheelchair helped him before the ambulance arrived.
The good samaritan is described as aged 50-60, slim and wearing glasses.
