THE Ross-on-Wye beer and cider festival returns this May Day bank holiday weekend.

Rossbeerfest will take place at Ross Rowing Club from midday on Saturday, May 2 to close of play on Sunday.

There will be locally brewed beers and cider for sale and food available, with bands and musicians playing all afternoon and evening.

Tickets for a day cost £5, which includes a free beer glass and beer guide. Opening hours are 12 to 11pm on Saturday and 12 to 10pm on Sunday.

Tickets can be bought online at www.rossbeerfest.org and from other outlets in the centre of Ross.

It is organised jointly by Ross-on-Wye Lions and Rotary Clubs. Volunteers are always welcome and if you are able to help there is a form on the website or call 0845 8335786.
