ALMOST 100 people registered in Herefordshire as blood donors following a national campaign.
NHS Blood and Transplant launched the Missing Type campaign for National Blood week appealing for more donors.
Between the campaign's launch between June 5 and 14, in Herefordshire 96 people registered as a blood donor, which compared to 39 in the same period last year.
If you are 17 or over, visit www.blood.co.uk or call 0300 123 23 23 to find out if you are eligible to donate, register as a blood donor and to book your appointment.
