A CLEHONGER man who makes walking sticks in his garden shed won best stick in show at the Royal Welsh Show.
Reg Marshall, 70, was also named reserve champion for his decorated horn sticks.
He has been making walking sticks as a hobby for 15 years and has learnt the more difficult technique of making sticks out of horn.
He has won many other competitions and has a plethora of cup and shields.
Mr Marshall, who has been married to Charlotte for 39 years, said: "I love it actually. It gives me something to do."
