A NOVEL way to remind dog owners to be responsible has appeared in Leominster.
Posters have been put up in the town and offer a reminder to ‘scoop the poop’.
They show a photograph of a dog stood up with a dustpan and brush.
A printed message is also on the poster which states that “unless your dog can do this, please be responsible and clean up after them”.
Leominster Town Councillor, Wayne Rosser, said one of the town’s dog wardens had come up with the novel idea and hoped the posters would help to limit the amount of mess left on the town’s streets.
He added: “I just thought it was a different aspect to it and it’s to say we haven’t forgotten about the campaign – but we’ve put a twist on it.”
