THE leaves might be changing colour for autumn but one Hereford boy's 10-headed sunflower is still blooming.

When four-year-old Logan Lynes, from Newton Farm, planted the seeds from his first time gardener kit he did not expect such a supersized flower to shoot up.

But of one the plants just kept growing and, now reaching just over 8ft, it boasts 10 heads and is continuing to bloom.

Logan's dad, Dan Lynes, said his son took responsibility for watering the plants and was excited to watch it grow.

"We honestly don't know what the secret is. I have never seen a multi-headed one before and it's still blooming now," he said.

"Logan has just really enjoyed doing it."
