RIVER levels are still high in Herefordshire but are expected to peak today.

The weather is expected to be drier today and tomorrow but there is a chance of light showers this afternoon and rain later on Wednesday.

However the Environment Agency has issued a flood warning for the River Wye from Hereford to Ross-on-Wye.

Flood alerts also remain in place across the county while some roads - including the C1120 between Moreton-on-Lugg and Marden - are still submerged.
