TICKETS will go on sale tomorrow for Droitwich Spa High School’s 35th Anniversary Concert.

The concert will celebrate 35 years of music making and will see more than 50 ex-students and staff converge on the school to join current students for an evening of musical entertainment.

Former pupils from as far away as Tenerife, Germany, Spain and Ireland will be at the concert on Saturday, April 30.

The performance will bring together acts from the school's larger ensembles with a variety of soloists.

The evening promises to be a trip down memory lane for everyone involved, especially the school’s Head of Music Kevin Dowson, who first came to the school 35 year ago.

He said: "I am really looking forward to seeing so many faces from the past and enabling everyone to make music in a move to inspire our young musicians of the future."

The lavish production, to be held in the school theatre, will create an atmospheric, memorable show for all concerned.

All proceeds from the concert will go towards promoting music making in years to come throughout the Droitwich pyramid of schools.

Tickets are strictly limited to 180 and will be available on a first come, first served bases from Friday, March 4.

Tickets cost £15 for adults and £10 for concessions and will only be available from ticketsource.co.uk/buytickets
