A MAN was knocked unconscious after being punched on the dancefloor in a Hereford nightclub.
Police are today appealing for witnesses following the assault in Saxty's on Widemarsh Street just before 3am on Monday, May 2.
The victim was punched in the face by another male before he fell to the floor and was unconscious for a brief time.
He was treated at the scene by off-duty medical personnel but did not require hospital treatment.
Investigating officer PC Cathryn Blake would like to hear from anyone who was at the scene at the time of the incident or has any information which would help establish what happened.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
