THE Ross-on-Wye carnival is nearly upon us with the traditional parade going through the market town.
The carnival field at the Ropewalk opens at 11am on Saturday, August 6 where there will be a fun fair, model steam railway, bird of prey, vintage cars, Mo the donkey, a bar, general stalls and refreshments.
The carnival parade starts at 1pm from the Ashburton estate before heading into town and goes around twice before arriving on the Ropewalk field for 2pm.
Prizes will be announced at 2.15pm followed by live music.
