The eyes of the world might be on the Presidential election in America, but youngsters at Much Marcle Primary have just enjoyed their own valuable lesson in democracy.
Pupils at the school recently elected their own school council and got into the voting habit by casting their votes with the help of a ballot box, just like in a UK General Election.
And the newly-elected school council will now be the official 'voice' of the students at the school, in discussions with staff and teachers.
