A GROUP of four county women travelled to London to take on the challenge of the Cancer Research Shine night time marathon.
Four nurses from Hereford County Hospital, Gemma Maddy, Sarah Hill, Alison Lambert and Maz Kaye-Allen, and finance manager Donna Thomas from Bevisol Ltd, Ledbury joined in the marathon which started at 10.15pm.
The route took in all of the sights of London and although walking through the night proved difficult, they finished at 8.09am.
It is hoped that £4m will be raised from this event, to help bear cancer sooner.
