A SERVICE which provides wellbeing information and signposting for county residents is on the move.

The Wellbeing Information and Signposting in Herefordshire (WISH) team will leave the hub in St Peter’s Street and move into new accommodation in the refurbished library on Hereford’s Broad Street at the end of January.

WISH – a service delivered by local charity Services for Independent Living (SIL) – has been supporting people in the county for almost year.

The relocation not only gives WISH a welcoming new space for visitors but private interview rooms too, so that anyone wanting to talk to an advisor can do so discreetly and in confidence.

The move takes place during the last weekend in January, so the WISH hub in St Peter’s Street will be closed on Saturday, January 28 and Monday, January 30.

Lisa Bradley, WISH Manager said: “We are trying to keep disruption to a minimum for anyone wanting to use our services, so the pop-ups will continue during this time as usual and normal service will be resumed on Tuesday, 31st January, when the library opens its doors for the first time since its refurbishment.

“The only thing that will change once we’re in our new premises is that our late night will move from Wednesdays to Fridays to tie in with the library’s late night opening.”
