AN art collective which was set up two years ago in a council-owned building has increased its sales.
Made in Ross was set up on the first floor of the historic Market House in the centre of Ross-on-Wye in May 2015.
As the building is owned by Ross Town Council, the collective report back to councillors annually about how well the exhibition space is going.
They currently have 14 artists displaying their work, covering a wide variety of media.
Sales are £3,000 up on last year so far and footfall for the past year is just over 13,000 which is about the same as last year.
The report said: "Getting people to come up the stairs remains a challenge. Our wood sculptor, Dave, is designing a new bespoke sign to attract people up the stairs and we intend to purchase a 'flag' as well."
They also said that lighting in the building remains a challenge, especially during the winter months.
Made in Ross will be celebrating their second birthday in May with a special exhibition by members, Inspired by the Wye.
