THE May Fair returned to the streets of Leominster and Hereford last week for its annual visit.
Herefordshire Council is running a consultation on the May Fairs until May 25, as the contracts are due to be renewed in 2019.
We asked those who took part in this week's online poll, at herefordtimes.com, whether they thought the fair should stay in the streets or move to an out-of-town location.
A total of 2,254 people took part and a majority of 59 per cent said they believed the fair should stay in the streets as it creates a great atmosphere and is tradition.
However 41 per cent disagreed and said the fair should be in an out-of-town location.
