A NEW website has been created to promote the carnival in Ross-on-Wye this year.

Thanks to sponsors, REHAU, the website has been developed to share event information with visitors and organisers.

Ross-on-Wye-based REHAU, the UK’s leading supplier of uPVC windows and doors, provided the money needed to design the website.

Jo Trotman, marketing communications manager from REHAU said: “As a part of the local community in Ross-on-Wye, we wanted to ensure we were doing our bit to keep the carnival spirit alive this August and offered to donate the funds needed for a new website.

"We know from our own business activities that online marketing is a hugely important way of sharing information with people, and are pleased that we’ve been able to help Carnival organisers spread the word online."

As a main sponsor, REHAU has also donated a first prize of an iPad Mini2 for the colouring-in competition, and will also be taking part in judging the entries. The winning design will be used on the front page of the carnival programme.
