The Poet Laureate at the Elms School
THE Poet Laureate visited a primary school to recite some of her poetry for pupils.
Dame Carol Ann Duffy and her ‘court musician’ John Sampson visited The Elms School in Colwall and pupils from Colwall Primary School also joined in.
She read her children’s book, The Princess’ Blankets, and recited poetry while John accompanied her on a myriad of ancient instruments.
