AN award-winning restaurateur is offering to cook up a feast as one of the rewards to those who pledge cash in a crowdfunding campaign for his new book.

Bill Sewell, best-known in Hereford for being behind the successful Café at All Saints Church on High Street, has compiled his best recipes from a life in food for the new, illustrated hardback book.

Bill's first restaurant ‘The Place Below’ in London received a Time Out award as ‘best vegetarian restaurant’ in the capital, and he went on to establish St David’s Cathedral Restaurant, Michaelhouse Café Cambridge before Café @ All Saints Hereford.

A champion of Herefordshire’s excellent produce for many years, his signature ‘simple and delicious’ recipes feature carefully sourced free range and organic chicken, pork, game, lamb beef and vegetables from across the the county.

In his new book ‘Bill’s Kitchen’, more than 120 of his most popular recipes are brought together in a fully illustrated hardback, featuring slow cooked meat, family suppers, vegetarian favourites and delicious cakes, puddings and tarts.

The book is being published via Kickstarter, a crowd-funding website and now has 80 per cent of the funding needed to get the book into print.

Rewards for donating include barista and bread-making courses with Bill or even dinner for you and your friends at Bill’s home
