A CONSULTATION period inviting views on plans for a broiler unit development in Leominster will end next week.
Corbett Farms Ltd is asking for permission to build two poultry units, housing a maximum of 30,000 birds per cycle, and feed bins on land west of Eaton Hill.
The scheme also involves widening an existing access, creating a new access track and associated development.
There have been 37 representations received so far in relation to the scheme, including an objection from Leominster Civic Society.
Members of the public have until June 29 to submit representations to Herefordshire Council in relation to the proposal.
