AN ten-week course run by the police will give members of the public access to the police service and other agencies.

The Herefordshire Citizens’ Academy is described as an opportunity to understand and experience how West Mercia Police protects people from harm and improves residents’ quality of life.

It will run at Hereford Police Station in Bath Street, Hereford from 6.30pm to 8.45pm every Monday from October 16 to December 18.

The course is delivered to 25 students aged 18 or over.
