A COCKTAIL party raised more than £800 for the Leominster Meeting Centre for people with dementia and their carers.
Around 100 people, including the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire and his wife, Christopher and Lotty James, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Leominster, Roger and Angela Pendleton, turned out to support the event at the New Inn in Pembridge.
Leominster and the surrounding villages are pioneering in their approach to being dementia friendly and the meeting centre is at the heart helping to support people living with dementia and to reduce stigma.
