RESIDENTS at a Dudley care home enjoyed a day of storytelling thanks to pupils from Kates Hill Primary School.
Youngsters visited Broadway Halls Care Home in The Broadway on February 14 to entertain their elders with tales of fiction and fantasy.
Activities coordinators Matt Pound, Julie Parkes and Nicky Maley (pictured below) also brought some books to life by dressing up as a pirate, the Queen of Hearts from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Mr Tumnus, from The Chronicles of Narnia books.
Julie said “Everyone had a wonderful time revisiting some of their favourite books and discovering new ones.
“The children from Kates Hill Primary School shared their favourite stories with us and we loved reminiscing about books that had caught our imagination in our childhood.”
