YOUNGSTERS in Redditch have benefitted from a free self defence training session.
The Redditch Selfdefence Association recently held a course for Redditch Borough U13 Football Club at Batchley Mettis club.
It was organised by Donna Amphlet and sponsored by Redditch Councillor Pattie Hill.
Pete Martin, founder of the group, said: "As part of our training we give awareness training which is really important in these potentially dangerous times. Violent crime in the UK rose significantly in 2017 and we try to give people the skills to remain safe."
