A 35-YEAR-OLD Bourton-on-the-Water man who broke into a launderette and stole cash has been given a suspended jail sentence.
Andrew Combes of Kingsmeadow, Bourton-on-the-Water admitted entering The Launderette in New Road, Moreton-in-Marsh on February 9 and stealing £77.21 in coins, when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates on February 12.
Combes, who asked for another case to be taken into consideration, was given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for a year and ordered to pay £400 compensation.
He was also ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs.
