FIREFIGHTERS from Kidderminster had a busy afternoon being called out to a number of incidents, including a house fire.

Crews from the town's station were called to a fire on the Severn Valley Railway embankment around 1.15pm earlier today.

At 1.45pm they were called to shed fire in Waystone Way, Belbroughton.

The shed contained a large quantity of flammable products and a propane cylinder.

If that wasn't enough, later today, around 2.20pm they were called to a fire in the bedroom of three storey house in the town.

One male had to be taken to hospital after suffering smoke inhalation.
