FRIENDS and family of a dad-of-three who died in Hereford want to raise money for a mental health charity.

Ashley George, 39, of Redhill was found dead in Villa Street in Hunderton on Sunday, March 4 after police launched a missing person’s appeal.

His parents, Steve and Beverley, and fiancee Shelley Price paid tribute to Ashley who they said was a lovely, caring person.

A Justgiving page was initially set up to raise £1,000 for Ashley's funeral.

However, it has since been decided to instead raise money for Mind, a charity which provides help for mental health problems.

Ashley suffered with depression and the family would like to see more help available for people who suffer from mental health problems.

Ashley, who was a window cleaner, had three children, Paige, 19, Leah, 17 and Jacob, 12.
