YOUNGSTERS from Woodfield Academy are getting ready to rock in the school's first full scale musical.
The school will be staging a junior adapted version of the worldwide hit musical We Will Rock You.
The show involves 40 of the academy's pupils, which includes performers, music technicians and backstage support.
Drama teacher Leona Davies said: "This is a very exciting opportunity for Woodfield Academy pupils, as it is the first time we have staged a full scale musical.
"It has provided pupils with the platform to showcase their talent as well as build their confidence in front of an audience. We are expecting it to be a huge success and can't wait to share all their hard work."
There will be two performances - on Thursday and Friday, April 19 and 20.
