WELLINGTON 3, BROMYARD TOWN 0
BROMYARD Town got away to a poor start with this opening game of their Sport Italia West Midlands Premier Division season and were well beaten by a youthful Wellington side.
The home team's pace and movement put Bromyard under pressure and they went 1-0 up in the 30th minute with a well taken goal.
After the break things got worse for the visitors and in the 55th minute Rob Woodward fouled a Wellington striker in the area and the resulting penalty kick was converted to make it 2-0.
Five minutes later Bromyard's Adam Ward was dismissed for a rash challenge leaving the way clear for Wellington to push on for the remainder of the game scoring another goal later on for an easy home 3-0 win.
