THE Hereford Bull statue is to be illuminated orange this evening, along with a host of monuments across the West Midlands.
The bull, based in High Town, will undergo a temporary makeover as part of West Midlands Railway 'Connecting the Region' celebration from 7pm.
The illuminations in the company's brand colour are to mark the new rail operator's presence in the region and commitment to increase the number of services and stations.
The Hereford bull will be joined by the Hive in Worcester, the Library of Birmingham and Coventry's Lady Godiva statue and other famous landmarks in Telford, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton.
West Midlands Railway, which runs the Hereford to Birmingham rail line, took over the rail franchise from London Midland last December.
