LEDBURY Food Group’s latest photographic exhibition “A Fruit Farming Year - Nature and Nurture” will feature images by local photographer, Pat Strauss.
The photographs will be on display from May 29 to June 9 in the Panelled Room of the Master’s House, Ledbury Library.
A spokesman said: “Ledbury Food Group arranged for Pat to visit the family-run modern commercial orchards of Castle Fruit Farm near Newent throughout one farming ear and record what she saw with her camera.
“She discovered a myriad of diverse but interconnected activities which go together to deliver a fruitful harvest.
“The exhibition illustrates an interwoven community of family, workers both human and animal, and an orchard environment of hedgerow management, wildflowers and bug habitats.”
The spokesman added: “Help for the exhibition has been provided by Herefordshire Community Foundation – Stuart Heaton and Glencora Fund.
“The exhibition is free and is open during Ledbury Library’s opening hours.”
