Police are appealing for witnesses after a 29-year-old man was left with facial injuries after being attacked in Leominster.
The victim left the White Lion public house and was walking up Etnam Street in the direction of the town centre just after midnight last Saturday, where he had a conversation with two men he did not know.
They are then believed to have started punching and kicking him.
The victim was taken to hospital where he required surgery after sustaining a broken jaw.
