BICYCLES have mysteriously appeared parked up in the middle of the River Wye in Hereford.
Graham Bennett spotted the bikes at one of the bases of the Old Bridge this morning.
Hoping to have the bicyles removed, he called the police who told him to contact Herefordshire Council.
After a long introductory message, Mr Bennett said he was then referred to another department who put him through to Balfour Beatty.
"Once the lady learned that a boat would be needed to get them she said it wasn't her problem," Mr Bennett added.
"I gave up at this stage and hung up."
