POLICE have carried out more drug raids in Hereford today.

Operation Ballet today focused on the Hampton Dene area of the city when cash and drugs were seized.

Police confirmed that five arrests were made for drug offences in Sudbury Avenue at around 11 am today when 50 wraps of class A drugs and around £1,000 were seized.

Writing on Facebook, Hereford police thanked local residents for all the community intelligence received.

"We encourage members of the public to call in with information on potential drug gangs operating in our city," they added.

"Please call 101 or 0800 555111. Every piece of information is important and helps us build a case."

Today's raids came after police made several arrests in Hereford yesterday when drugs were also found.

Operation Ballet is targeting dealers who cross county lines in the West Midlands.
