THE HM Coastguard helicopter landed in a Hereford park.
The air rescue service was called to the King George V Playing fields yesterday afternoon.
It is understood one patient was taken to hospital.
However, the extent of their injuries, and how they got them, are unknown.
Witnesses saw the helicopter fly in over Greyfriars Bridge before circling above Hinton.
The Hereford Times has previously reported on the difficulties land ambulances have faced when trying to access the playing fields due to bollards at both entrances being locked.
However, on this occasion land ambulances were able to gain access to the fields and assist with the rescue operation.
