A BBQ and family fun evening takes place next week, to coincide with the arrival of a fundraising cycle event to raise money for veterans.

‘Around the World in 80 Coffees’ will see three cyclists travel the length and breadth of the UK to raise funds to build a support hub for veterans in Weymouth and provide support for people with PTSD.

The cyclists will begin their challenge in Edinburgh, before winding down the country to Weymouth.

They will stop off in Hereford on July 2, with the BBQ and fun evening taking place later that day.

The event takes place at the Sea Cadets Centre, Greyfriars from 5-8pm and is organised by the Hereford Military and Veterans Club, in association with Mark Dennison, the brainchild behind ‘Around the World in 80 Coffees’.

The premise behind the challenge is for veterans all over the UK to connect and chat over a cup of coffee.
