BROMYARD TOWN 2, DARLASTON 4
BROMYARD Town's poor start to their West Midlands Premier Division season continued with a heavy defeat at the hands of visitors Darlaston.
Bromyard played well for the first 30 minutes but gifted the visitors a goal shortly afterwards following a defensive mix up and Darlaston went 2-0 up just before the break.
The home side came out in positive mood for the second-half and within 10 minutes Chris Allen had reduced the arrears with a well-taken goal. Bromyard then took control of the game but a poor penalty decision awarded to Darlaston to make it 3-1 virtually killed off the game.
In the last 10 minutes the visitors added a further goal but Bromyard's Gareth McCarthy made it 4-2 with a fine individual effort. Once again Bromyard's keeper Aaron O'Malley was in fine form, making several point-blank saves during the game.
