A FALLEN digger caused traffic chaos after toppling into roadworks in Hereford.
A digger arm partially obstructed the road near to The Range store at Three Elms Road.
Driver Danielson Wilde said he was stuck in traffic for half an hour as a lorry tried to squeeze through small gap in the road.
Balfour Beatty Living Places for Herefordshire Council said the road was closed from the junction with A4103 to the Three Elms Business Park to enable recovery of a digger fallen into Welsh Water roadworks.
Access to the business park was possible from Monument roundabout.
The digger has now been righted and traffic has returned to normal.
