A MAN was rescued by emergency services after threatening to jump off a bridge in Hereford.
Fire crews, police and paramedics arrived at the scene on Bridge Street to reports of a man threatening to jump off the bridge into the River Wye just after 11pm last night.
A spokeswoman from the ambulance service said: "We were called by the police at 11.15pm last night and one ambulance and one paramedic officer attended.
"We treated a man on scene before he was taken to hospital for further care."
