HEREFORDSHIRE Mind is calling for past and present supporters to get involved in the organisation's 40th birthday commemorations.

The charity is organising a week of events in November to mark 40 years of supporting people living with mental health issues in the county.

Alicia Lawrence, Herefordshire Mind’s General Manager said: “I’m very much looking forward to meeting all those who have made Herefordshire Mind such a wonderful organisation by celebrating our history whilst looking to the future.”

The organisation is calling on anyone who has engaged with their work at any time over the last 40 years to get in touch.

Herefordshire Mind want to bring together users, staff, volunteers, partners, trustees, supporters and anyone interested in mental health, to explore ways of working together as a community to support people who struggle with mental health problems.

The week, starting on November 20, will see St Peter's Church in Hereford, offering a series of free exhibits, talks and workshops on the charity's work.
