WELLINGTON 1, BROMYARD TOWN 2
BROMYARD Town's youth team turned in a fine display in the Midland Floodlit League with a 2-1 away win at Wellington.
They got off to a good start after 10 minutes when good work down the left by Nathan Rawlings saw his cross neatly put away by Nick Ingram to make it 1-0 up until the interval.
After the break Wellington put the pressure on but Bromyard's defence well mashelled by skipper Tom Peberdy held firm and on the hour the visitors made it 2-0 when Henry Davis crossed for Chris Price to slot home.
With 15 minutes remaining Wellington pulled a goal back but Bromyard came roaring back with Rawlings hitting the woodwork twice in the last 10 minutes to keep the home team pegged back in their own half - giving Bromyard a well deserved victory.
