BROMYARD 0, MARKET HARBOROUGH 39PTS
BROMYARD'S EDF Energy Junior Vase run came to an abrupt end on Saturday when they succumbed to high flying Market Harborough.
The visitors, several of whom had played at national league level, did not have it all their own way as Bromyard showed real character in defence with gutsy counter attacks notably by winger Geraint Griffiths and powerful charges by skipper Nick Legge.
Second row Rob Stevenson was in the thick of the forward exchanges and young Ben Collins continued his promising start for the club at scrum-half.
Bromyard resume league action on Saturday (October 20), when they travel to Bredon before returning to the clubhouse to watch the World Cup final on the big screen, everyone welcome.
