BROMYARD 11PTS, CLEOBURY MORTIMER 7PTS
YET again Bromyard succumbed to an early points deficit when they met Cleobury in a friendly fixture last Saturday.
The visitors drove over for a converted try in the opening exchanges, however, Bromyard defended resolutely for the rest of the game none more so than hard tackling youngster Lee Cox.
The home side clawed their way back into contention with a Ben Collins penalty either side of half-time.
Bromyard finally put their noses in front when pacey winger Anthony Blackshaw made a break from the half way line to touchdown for a try.
Flanker Will Tomkins continued his good start to the season with another fine back row performance.
Bromyard resume league action this coming weekend when they travel to Birmingham Exiles.
