BIRMINGHAM EXILES 10PTS, BROMYARD 17PTS
BROMYARD turned in a below par performance but managed to come away from Birmingham with the Midlands Six West (SW) points on Saturday.
The visitors soon found them behind to league strugglers Birmingham Exiles but flanker Steve Rowberry levelled the scored when he touched down for a try when he took a quick penalty.
In-form flanker Will Tomkins did his best to stamp Bromyard's authority on the game when he scored their second try converted by Ben Collins but Exiles hit straight back to keep in contention at half-time at 10-12.
The introduction in the second half of Jason Piggott, Nick Legge and Tom Albert saw Bromyard consolidate their lead when Albert scored with his first touch of the ball.
Bromyard travel to Dudley Kingswinford this Saturday in the first round of the North Midlands Cup.
