BROMYARD 39PTS, CHADDESLEY CORBETT 12PTS
BROMYARD returned to league action last Saturday with an emphatic win and a climb to third spot in the table.
The home side opened brightly and enjoyed a good spell of domination culminating in a try for inside centre Dan Goodson, converted by Ben Collins.
Chaddesley came back into the game and levelled the scores before fly-half Roger Dixon put Bromyard ahead with a penalty just before half-time.
The visitors took the lead early in the second half but Dixon slotted an excellent drop goal to regain control.
Bromyard then enjoyed a fine period of play during which prop Jon Wain and skipper Nick Legge touched down followed by Goodson's second which capped a fine contribution to the game.
Busy wing forward Will Tomkins sealed the win with a late try and hopes of league progress. Hooker Simon Fryar impressed in the forward exchanges and second row Jason Piggott again turned in a typically robust performance.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Bromyard travel to fellow league hopefuls Clee Hill and a win could see them move into second place.
