BROMYARD seconds got the better of a strong Ledbury thirds defence for a good 17-0 away win.
Playing in gale force conditions, Bromyard took advantage of a depleted Ledbury front row, who were conceding both weight and experience.
Bromyard fly-half Ed Barrett slotted a penalty after 15 minutes, after spending most of the of that time had in the Ledbury 22'.
Mike Harrison scored a pushover try for the visitors, which put Bromyard 10 points ahead after 20 minutes.
The introduction of veterans Martin Williams, Russ Price and Mark Andrews immediately settled the Ledbury scrummage, and no further points were leaked in the first- half.
At the turnround, Ledbury were unable to take advantage of the slope, but the wind dropped.
Ledbury's defence had been excellent all game, but five minutes from time Bromyard centre Ed Stevenson burst through to score a converted try.
