LADS revive Dylan classic on stage

THE famous Dylan Thomas play Under Milk Wood is being performed at the Market Theatre in Ledbury next week.

The production is by the Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society and runs from Thursday, October 29, until Saturday, October 31.

The play, which was originally written for radio, is about the dreams and innermost thoughts of the inhabitants of an imaginary Welsh village. It will introduce the audience to Mrs Ogmore-Pritchard, relentlessly bossing her two dead husbands, Captain Cat, reliving his sea faring days, Organ Morgan, obsessed with his music and Polly Garter, pining for her dead lover.

It is a play for voices with some audio and visual support.

Performances are at 8pm and tickets cost £7 or £4 for students. Call the Market Theatre ticket line on 01531 636147.
