LOCAL MP Bill Wiggin has signed up to become a Parliamentary Supporter of the Angling Trust, whose headquarters are in Leominster.
Mr Wiggin said: “I am proud to support the Angling Trust and all of the tremendous work they do to promote angling and the environment.
“In Herefordshire we have some of the finest locations for fishing in the world, such as the River Wye.“ The Trust was formed in January 2009 by a merger of six angling bodies. The new organisation is responsible for representing the nation’s 3.5 million anglers.
