ENTHUSIASM was expressed for changes to the way car parking is paid for when Ledbury Town Council met on Thursday, February 4).

Herefordshire councillor for the town, Peter Watts, said plans had been drawn up to introduce a ‘pay-on-exit’ system at Hereford city car parks.

Councillor Tony Bradford said: “I would like to see this introduced in Ledbury. A lot of people do not get back in time.”

Coun Watts responded: “There is to be another review of car parking for the market towns and these are the sort of things we need to know about.”
