LEDBURY Choral Society handed over a cheque for £400 to the Megan Baker House charity when it met for rehearsals on Thursday, February 4.
The money, presented to chief executive Lee Gough, had been raised from the choir’s Christmas Concert in Ledbury.
Megan Baker House supports children with motor disabilities, caused by cerebral palsy, head injuries, strokes and dyspraxia and also adults with Parkinson’s.
Mrs Gough described how one little girl, who was initially unable to use her legs to walk, was able to even run after several sessions. Megan Baker House also provides support to families and carers.
The society’s next concert will be Handel’s Messiah, sung with an orchestra in St Michael’s Church, Ledbury, on Saturday, May 1.
