MORE than £1,200 was raised as Ledbury and Colwall Children’s Society launched its new cookbook with a fund-raising meal.
The cookbook is made up of about 90 different recipes for starters, main courses, desserts and extras, all submitted by supporters and friends of the charity.
It was launched at Sitara Restaurant, in Ledbury’s High Street, where a four-course meal was generously provided for more than 50 people.
“The committee would like to thank owner Dunu Miah and his staff for a fabulous evening and their support of this worthwhile charity,” said spokesman Teresa Atkins.
The cookbook is available from The Feathers Hotel, in High Street, and Connections, in Homend Walk, priced £7.
